Step into a rewarding role as an Indigenous Child and Family Well-Being Worker with Family & Children’s Services of Renfrew County.

Utilize

Indigenous practices for the well-being of children and their families. As an Indigenous Child and Family Well-Being Worker, you will proudly support Indigenous families by delivering tailored services in accordance with the Child, Youth and Family Services Act. This role emphasizes culturally responsive care while addressing safety and risk management needs.

You'll engage collaboratively with community members and uphold commitments that recognize and promote Indigenous traditions and values. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct risk and safety assessments with sensitivity
- Manage cases and provide ongoing support for families




- Facilitate healing and connection to Indigenous culture
- Coordinate with community partners for enhanced service delivery
- Participate in supervision and career development training Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Social Work or related field
- Experience working with Indigenous populations
- Knowledge of CYFSA and appropriate practices
- Strong mediation and facilitation skills
- Preference for candidates of Indigenous heritage Support Indigenous families while maintaining cultural integrity and community connection in your work.
