Ensure the cleanliness and safety of WDM Saskatoon's facilities as a Custodian. This crucial role involves daily cleaning tasks, artifact care, and inventory management for supplies. Reporting to the Facility & Grounds Supervisor, your primary responsibilities as Custodian will involve maintaining the high operational standards of WDM Saskatoon.
You will conduct routine cleaning throughout the museum, manage urgent clean-up situations, and ensure the careful handling of artifacts. Solid organization and communication skills are essential for successful collaboration with the custodial team and supervisors. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide custodial services in all facility areas
- Monitor and protect the collection integrity
- Keep daily records of cleaning tasks and issues
- React promptly to urgent cleanup situations
- Oversee inventory levels for cleaning supplies Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Class 5 Driver's license, with relevant certifications an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
