Duties and Responsibilities
- Order entry
- Customer service
- Bookkeeping
- HST Returns
- Provide documentation and support, as required, to outside accountants Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable Payroll
- Support in preparing annual pricing and sending quotes to customers
- Customer account administration
- Remaining up to date on regulations in related areas
- Participating in annual professional and personal development training
- Recommending upgrades and improvements to processes and software in related areas Additional tasks as required, and as time and skills permit
- Participation in staff meetings
Qualifications
- Possess character that aligns with the mission and guiding principles of Horta-Craft Customer Service Skills
- Administrative skills Detail oriented Organizational skills
- 2-5 years of bookkeeping & accounting knowledge & experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient computer skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
General Working Conditions
- 5 days/week with additional or less hours as required to manage seasonal fluctuations Office hours – Monday to Friday – 8am – 4:30pm
- Majority of work will be completed on-site at a computer
Remuneration
- Starting Wage - $25-28/hr depending on experience
- Cell phone – monthly reimbursement or Horta-Craft plan and phone provided
- Vacation – 2 weeks
