The Roving Road
Foreperson role is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Superintendent, Roads. You will lead a dedicated team of maintenance staff and sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with MoTT specifications. Solid communication and operational skills are essential for managing both team dynamics and equipment usage in diverse weather conditions. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance work across service areas
- Guarantee safety and efficiency in all operations
- Build relationships with external agencies and stakeholders
- Comply with all relevant maintenance specifications
- Provide direct leadership and support to your team Requirements:
- Minimum three years in management roles required
- At least five years in the road maintenance field
- Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement
- Clean driver’s abstract necessary
