We are seeking a reliable and caring Cook/Janitor to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming daycare environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen, classrooms, washrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and report maintenance concerns.
- Support a positive and secure environment for children and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and/or custodial work is an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
