Project OverviewSafetyCoLabs is a new workforce education and training venture by SafetyCo. The initiative is designed to modernize workforce training by combining digital learning, industry-aligned curriculum, and direct pathways into employment.We are looking for a General Manager to lead SafetyCoLabs through conception, launch, growth, and scale. This is a high-ownership leadership role for an operator who knows how to turn an ambitious idea into a functioning, growing business.The GM will own the overall performance of SafetyCoLabs, bringing together product, technology, sales, partnerships, operations, people, and financial management to build and grow the venture. You will work closely with SafetyCo leadership, education partners, government stakeholders, technology partners, and industry to establish the model, launch the product, build market traction, and create a sustainable operating structure.We are looking for someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, making decisions without having every answer, removing roadblocks, and moving quickly with limited resources. You should be equally comfortable discussing product strategy with a technology team, building relationships with senior stakeholders, developing a go-to-market strategy, reviewing complex budgets, and rolling up your sleeves to solve whatever problem is standing in the way.Why This Role Exists:SafetyCoLabs needs a leader who can take ownership of the venture as a whole.The GM will be accountable for turning the SafetyCoLabs vision into a functioning, market-ready, and growing business.
