Be part of Multimatic's engineering team as a Design Engineer specializing in structures and suspension products in Markham, Ontario. Innovate and refine automotive designs for top OEMs. This role within the Structures & Suspension Department focuses on developing automotive products, including suspension components and body structures.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while managing CAD modeling, documentation, and R&D; support. Your experience in automotive design will be key to driving project success. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop design concepts to meet OEM requirements
- Maintain engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Work with program management on DFM and VA/VE initiatives
- Conduct validation tests and analyze results
- Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering practices Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering field
- At least 3 years of experience in automotive design
- Proficient in CAD software, CATIA or NX preferred
- Knowledge of DFMEA and DVP&R;
