We are seeking a passionate and creative Halwai to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties
- Prepare a burfi, gulab jamun, begali sweets and rasgulla
- Rabri and Jalebi
- Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dessert recipes and seasonal offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dessert station, including proper packaging for take-out orders
- Assist in food presentation, garnishing, and plating to ensure visually appealing dishes
- Support the overall food preparation process in the restaurant, contributing to a smooth kitchen operation
Skills
- Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, and food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Excellent skills in cooking techniques specific to desserts and confections
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and team members
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking and dessert presentation
- Experience in packaging desserts for take-out or delivery is a plus
