Reporting to the Team Lead, you will support community engagement activities associated with a significant project in Northern Ontario. This role emphasizes the importance of relationship building and planning, as you'll help facilitate compliance with the Indigenous Participation Plan while tackling social risks. Your work will help drive positive changes within local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support planning of community engagement initiatives
• Monitor and report on engagement campaign performance
• Mitigate social risks to project contracts
• Develop community profiles and social risk assessments
• Collaborate with the Indigenous Relations team on commitments
Requirements:
• Relevant degree in social sciences or policy
• 5+ years of community engagement experience
• Solid communication and relationship management
• Skills in problem-solving in evolving settings
• Familiarity with Indigenous community engagement
