Purpose:

Detail-oriented and technically proficient Digital Engineer to join our growing team of digital engineering professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in BIM (Building Information Modeling), Revit, construction methodologies, and digital technologies that support project delivery. Hands-on experience with tools such as 3D Scanning, 4D/5D modeling platforms, OpenSpace, and other digital engineering solutions for construction sequencing, progress tracking, and visualization is highly valued.

Key Responsiblities:

- Ability to perform 3D scanning using LiDAR scanners (Leica RTC360/BLK360 preferred) in the field to capture As Built conditions of the modification.
- Process and stitch the point cloud captured using Leica Register 360 Plus or similar software.
- Mesh the 3D scan into a geometrical format for clash detection purposes.
- Leverage 3D scanning technologies to validate as-built conditions, support clash detection, and improve project accuracy.
- Develop 3D Models using Revit, AutoCAD, Plant3D or equivalent of the design models or construction activities.
- Develop and manage digital construction simulations using leading platforms (e.g., Cintoo, Navisworks, or similar).
- Integrate 3D BIM models with project schedules and cost data (Primavera P6, MS Project, Synchro 4D).
- Utilize OpenSpace to capture, track, and analyze site progress with AI-powered insights linked to BIM and schedules.
- Collaborate with project teams, planners, and site engineers to validate and enhance construction sequencing and logistics.




- Conduct constructability review meetings and (COMs) using 3D models and innovative tools to support decision-making and coordination.
- Produce digital visualizations, animations, and presentations for stakeholders and project management using Lumion, twin motion, 3D Max or similar.
- Maintain version control, model health, and documentation of digital models across the project lifecycle.
- Assist in training and onboarding team members to digital engineering workflows and standards.

Required Qualifications:

- OPG security clearance
- Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of professional experience in 3D Lidar Scanning technology.
- 2–5+ years of qualified experience in BIM and/or construction planning.
- Proven experience with digital engineering tools (4D/5D modeling, reality capture, 3D scanning, progress tracking).
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and real-world field practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents (drawings, specs, schedules).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

Nice to Have

- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or nuclear projects.
- Familiarity with VDC, Common Data Environments (CDEs), and ISO 19650 standards.
- Skills in additional tools like Civil 3D, Power BI, Unreal Engine, or Twin motion for visualization.
