- Act as a technical authority across the organization
- Make decisions on structural issues related to architecture, technology choices, technical debt, and major risks
- Implement or review architecture and code when the situation requires
- Contribute to the evolution of Nexapp's software practices and maintain a high level of quality
- Integrate AI into development practices, promoting responsible, sustainable, and measurable use
- Act as a strategic technical partner to clients
- Support business development by validating feasibility, technical risks, and assumptions
- Work with Product Owners and the Strategy & Delivery leadership
- Translate complex technical trade-offs for business stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, anticipate risks, and deploy mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with Nexapp quality standards on active projects
- Coach and mentor Team Leads and senior developers
- Mobilize and equip teams around key organizational objectives

Requirements

- Strong, up-to-date technical credibility in software development
- Comfortable remaining hands-on and diving into architecture or code when necessary




- Cross-functional technical leadership and the ability to influence without formal authority
- Ability to align technical leaders and communicate with business stakeholders
- Experience in servant leadership, coaching, and mentoring Team Leads and senior developers
- Strong judgment on delivery, early risk detection, and prioritization
- Practical experience applying AI in an engineering context and the ability to guide responsible, sustainable use
- Good command of English, spoken and written, to discuss complex technical issues directly with anglophone clients
