You will be the backbone of our fleet; performing preventativemaintenance, advanced diagnostics, and field repairs to ensure equipment never misses a beat. If you know diesel, hydraulics, and electrical systems and take pride in protected, professional work, we want you to be on our team.What you will do...Develop and maintain a consistent schedule of performing preventative maintenance of all Herc owned fleet at long term customer job sitesOversee and conduct oil changes, lubrication of equipment, tire replacements, hose repairs, battery replacements and assorted servicesDiagnose and repair heavy equipment as required to ensure proper operating condition at the job siteDiagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical systems,



hydraulic systems and propane systemsRecondition and replace assorted parts to return equipment to a safely functioning stateEducating customers on proper use of equipment to avoid future breakdownsAnalyze problem areas for any significant wear or tear and address to ensure proper usage of the equipment until your next scheduled visitAdhere to all safety guidelines posted at active jobsite where repairs and maintenance are completedMaintain work area on jobsite in a clean and organized mannerProduce timely and detailed service reports and repair logsFollow all company's filed procedures and protocolsBuild positive relationships with customersPerform additional duties as assignedSkillsAbility to work constructively under pressure.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrates initiative and strong organizational skills.Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a professional customer service focused attitude.RequirementsMust have Journeyman Mechanic (Off Road) Certificate or Red Seal in HET.Able to work 7 on, 7 off.Camp is provided along with flights out of Edmonton or Calgary only.At least 3-years' hands on experience working on Aerial EquipmentValid Class 5 license.A clean and recent driver's abstract will be required.All employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and alcohol screening.According to site regulations, all candidates must be clean shaven.Schedule and CompensationRate: $57.77/hr union rate. When you work in the field,



there is an additional $1.50/hour field premium.*This rate is for candidates who hold their Journeyman HET off Road Ticket*Pension: $4.00 per hour (company-paid) after 24 monthsSchedule: 7 days on / 7 days offShift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PMHours: 11.5 hours per day at regular timeOvertime: Paid after 11.5 hours/day or beyond the 7-day rotationFlight days: Monday. Start work Tuesday. Fly home after work on Monday.
