Become a Learning Partner in Indigenous Education with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, focusing on leadership and parent engagement in K-12 settings. The position is full-time and begins on August 31, 2026.
Your role as a Learning Partner will include supporting Indigenous students, families, and staff through collaboration and advocacy within schools. You will organize professional development for educators, create engaging curricula, and facilitate community partnerships. Your work will significantly impact the learning workplace and cultural understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with educators to support Indigenous students' needs
• Design and deliver professional learning on Indigenous pedagogical methods
• Build relationships within the Indigenous community




• Create lesson plans and resources focused on Indigenous knowledge
• Assist in the implementation of Indigenous content across curricula
Requirements:
• Must hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
• Minimum 1+ years teaching experience
• Established community relationships
• Knowledge of Indigenous education frameworks
• Effective mentoring and organizational skills
Drive change in Indigenous education and nurture relationships while leading initiatives in this impactful role.
