Piano Whiz Academy is looking for a passionate and experienced Drum Teacher to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Develop customized drum lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level, interests, and goals
- Teach fundamental drumming techniques, rhythm exercises, and musical concepts in a clear, engaging manner
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and active participation
- Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement
- Incorporate diverse musical styles and genres to keep lessons engaging and inspiring
- Prepare students for performances, exams, or recitals by guiding practice routines and performance skills
- Maintain organized records of lesson plans, student progress, and attendance
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Able to teach music notes reading and sight-reading
- Strong knowledge of drum technique and fundamentals
- Able to prepare students for recital performances and music exams
- Patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable teaching approach
- Ability to motivate students and track their progress
