Académie Montessori Brossard is a private daycare center in Brossard, QC, offering full-time care for children aged 6 months to 6 years. Role Description The Early Childhood Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Brossard, QC. This role involves planning and implementing Montessori-inspired activities that support each child’s developmental needs and interests. The educator will guide children through hands-on learning, supervise play, and maintain a safe, welcoming classroom environment.
Daily responsibilities include observing and documenting children’s progress, communicating with families, collaborating with colleagues, and ensuring materials and spaces are organized and ready for use. The educator also promotes positive social interactions, supports self-regulation, and contributes to a respectful, inclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills
- Early childhood educator experience with children aged 0-5
- Written and verbal communication skills (English and/or French)
- Either DEC or ECE, or Montessori certification (Preferred)
- First Aid/ CPR training
- Passing of all the required background checks for working with children
Responsibilities
Supervision and care of children, including:
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities to support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development;
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized classroom environment;
- Assisting with meals, naps, diaper changes, toilet training, and hygiene routines;
- Observing and documenting children’s progress;
- Communicating with parents and colleagues;
- Complying with the childcare centre’s policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
