As a full time Structural Engineer, report to the Manager of Engineering Design Services. Your role involves delivering high-quality engineering solutions while mentoring team members and collaborating with stakeholders. You will oversee technical reviews, contribute to engineering standards, and provide leadership in complex structural design and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic engineering plans
• Lead structural engineering service delivery
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to teams
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations
• Evaluate consultant submissions and engineering designs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration with APEGA
• 10+ years of engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Code and CSA standards
• Proficiency in structural analysis software
