EDUCATION ASSISTANT

Term 2026/2027 School Year

1 Full-time (100% FTE) Position

Preferred qualifications include:

- Early Childhood Education Diploma or Teaching Assistant Diploma preferred
- Experience working with students or youth with complex needs
- Ability to work and communicate with non-verbal students
- Ability to provide regulation support and behavioural intervention
- Ability and willingness to provide intimate care, toileting, and feeding support for students
- Experience and/or training in education environments
- Ablity to physically support students, these positions can be physically challenging
- Proven ability to work independently
- Patience and experience working with children with unexpected behaviours




- The ability to be flexible/adaptable and committed to contributing to the wider school community
- Experience in working as part of a collaborative team and possess robust communication skills
- Show initiative and flexibility in working with students from JK to Grade 12.
- High School Diploma
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Trained in First Aid and CPR
