The post holder will deliver operational electrical maintenance across the Trust, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, installations and emergency works.
Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with statutory and NHS standards, ensuring secure systems of work, supporting critical patient-facing services, liaising with contractors and stakeholders, interpreting technical information, undertaking inspections and audits, maintaining accurate records, supporting apprentices and assistants, and acting as a Competent Person where authorised. The role requires independent judgement, effective prioritisation of workload and participation in the Trusts emergency and on-call arrangements.
