Wood's Homes, a not-for-profit mental health centre, is seeking a full-time Senior Youth & Family Counsellor. This role requires working rotating shifts to provide supportive care to clients within a structured environment. You'll be actively involved in case management and maintaining a protected and engaging living space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement structured programs for personal and social development • Attend and contribute to case conferences and training sessions • Manage crisis situations and support client admissions • Uphold a safe living environment according to licensing guidelines • Provide leadership and operational guidance to program staff
Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences or related fields • Four years of experience with youth in residential settings • Current CPR and First Aid certification • Valid class 5 driver’s license and personal transportation • Ability to report hazards and unsafe conditions
