As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active, or eligible for, registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications
Must have the Peri-operative Certificate (ORT). Or completion of the Peri-operative education within 16 months from start date. Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years' experience in the OR. 5 years' experience or more as an LPN.
