: The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education
- Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational institute
Licenses
- Valid Class 4 driver's license

- Current Basic Life Support-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(BLS-CPR) certification
- Automated External Defibrillator Certificate (AED)
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)

- Familiar with the SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System.
- Knowledge of legislation, protocols & scope of practice applicable to EMS in SK

- Ability to exhibit situational awareness
- Demonstrate responsible decision-making supported by solid critical thinking
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
