follow-up plans, communication and documentation)Completion of routine assessments of medication reviews and ensure all documentation is as per routine practice and provincial legislationClinical revenue generation and expenditures to ensure all staff are meeting performance targets; follow up with clinicalteam members as required to ensure ongoing accountabilitySchedule and provide oversight of clinical initiatives including transition support, influenza education, and implementation of other programs and initiativesPerforms duties of a Clinical Consultant PharmacistProject management of initiatives implemented by clinical team (i.E. education, program and resource updates, Policy & Procedure review and refresh, etc.) and provide status updates to VP, Clinical Operations as requiredProvides direction to organize assignments for the Clinical TeamFacilitate clinical and general business development opportunities for the organizationEnsures consistency of care is provided to meet staff, customer contract and resident needsOperational framework, team and infrastructure needed to support the planning and delivery of programs and servicesMaintains communication with Clinical Pharmacy teamDevelops and revises goals, standards, and objectives for Clinical TeamParticipates in strategic planning of Clinical Pharmacy operationsOversees the recruitment of new employees including; opening requisitions, interviewing, and on-boardingFacilitates the provision of resources and equipment to deliver resident careManages vacation and time off requests of clinical teamAccountable for performance of clinical team and clinical services provided to customersSupport in managing Clinical budgetConduct and/or participate in customer business review meetingsMaintain and manage corporate customer relationshipsParticipate in clinical aspects of RFP presentations in pursuit of new customersOversee and facilitate the adoption of new clinical technology into practiceParticipate in relevant Seniors based tradeshows and business development conferences/meetingsUnderstand provincial regulations, health authority requirements, and clinical billing legislationRequired CredentialsRegistered Pharmacist or other allied health skilled in good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory authority (e.G., Ontario College of Pharmacists in Ontario)Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPhm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent health professional degreeEligibility to practice in the province(s) supportedValid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to client sitesDemonstrated proficiency with pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office SuiteRequired ExperienceMinimum 5 years of pharmacist/health care professional experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in:Long-Term CareRetirement LivingContinuing CareGeriatric Pharmacy PracticeMinimum 2 years of people leadership experience, including:Coaching and performance managementRecruitment and onboardingManaging remote or geographically dispersed teamsExperience working with:Quality improvement initiativesRegulatory complianceInterdisciplinary care teamsWhat you would bring to the teamMulti-site leadership experienceExperience managing clinical consultant pharmacists/allied health professionalsQuality and accreditation experienceBudget and workforce planning experienceCompensation Range: $120,000 to $130,000.
