Ensure environmental regulations are upheld at 14 airports and related maritime infrastructures. As the Environmental Specialist reporting to the Environmental Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining compliance and managing environmental risks across the region.

This hybrid position involves audits, training, and emergency preparedness, helping to foster a culture of environmental accountability within the Transportation Department. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct annual environmental inspections across KRG facilities
- Manage contaminated soils and oversee remediation projects
- Train staff on hazardous material handling and disposal




- Plan and conduct environmental emergency exercises
- Participate in environmental committees and programs Requirements:
- Degree in environmental studies or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an environmental role
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of Northern Aboriginal issues is an asset
