This role will help translate operational and commercial activity into financial assumptions, identify key performance drivers, and support decision‐making through clear financial analysis and recommendations.You will bring strong financial curiosity, ownership and communication skills. You will play an key role in strengthening the FP&A rhythm of the organization, improving forecast accuracy, supporting strategic initiatives and helping leaders understand the financial implications of business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts.Partner with business leaders to understand operational, commercial and strategic drivers and translate them into financial impactsBuild and maintain financial models to support planning, forecasting, scenario analysis and business decision‐makingConduct variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior‐period results, identifying key drivers, risks and opportunitiesMonitor financial and operational performance against strategic objectives and provide actionable recommendations to managementPrepare recurring management reporting,
executive presentations and financial performance summariesDevelop insights that help leadership understand financial performance, emerging trends and opportunities to improve resultsSupport monthly, quarterly and year‐end planning and performance activities, with flexibility during key planning and close periodsWork cross‐functionally with Finance, Operations and other business partners to support business planning and performance managementContinuously improve FP&A processes, models, reporting packages and planning tools to increase efficiency, consistency and usefulness of financial informationCritical QualificationsUniversity degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration or a related discipline; or equivalent work experienceCPA designation completed or in progress is considered an asset2+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, capital planning, consulting, financial reporting or a related disciplineExperience supporting budgeting, forecasting, long‐range planning and business performance management processesStrong analytical, business and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to turn financial information into clear recommendationsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with complex financial models and large datasetsStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial results and recommendations to business leadersAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and remain flexible during key planning, month‐end and year‐end periodsExperience with SAP or other financial systems is considered an assetExperience with planning, reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI is considered an assetKnowledge of the telecommunications or infrastructure industry is considered an assetBilingualism (English/French) is considered an assetPreferred QualificationsDemonstrates strong ownership, accountability and attention to detailBuilds trusted relationships with business partners and cross‐functional teamsCommunicates financial information clearly and confidently to stakeholders at different levelsShows curiosity and business acumen,
