Role: Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer – Trading

Salary:$125,000 - $250,000 SGD + Bonus
Location: Montreal / Hybrid

The Role
My client is seeking a knowledgeable Platform Engineer to work on their low latency Linux estate. The role sits between Platform Engineering, DevOps, Linux Systems Administration, and SRE, and incorporates elements of allthese positions. You will build, design, and architect automated solutions for scalable deployment in private and public cloud infrastructure. You will work in both a project and BAU capacity,



automating wherever possible.

Core Skills Required

• Linux: Deep expertise in managing and tuning the Linux estate.
• Configuration Management: Proficiency in Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman.
• CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and deployment workflows.
• Development: Proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Go.

Desirable Skills

• IaC: Experience with Terraform, Helm, Pulumi, or Bicep.
• Cloud: Knowledge of AWS or GCP (Public/Private Cloud).
• Storage & Computing: Familiarity with Block / Blob Storage and HPC.
• Resilience: Experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
