Do you thrive in a fast paced, reactive environment where no two days are the same?About The RoleAs a Resettlement Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting some of the district’s most vulnerable residents, those with complex needs who are at high risk of homelessness, rough sleeping or tenancy breakdown.ResponsibilitiesEmpower individuals to sustain accommodation when moving on from homelessness or crisis situationsDeliver personalised support plans that enable residents to maintain safe and reliable housingWork creatively and assertively to prevent homelessnessBuild trusted relationships and work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, partner agencies, support providers and landlordsBe confident in lone working on your own initiative, as well as being part of a wider teamRespond quickly and effectively to urgent situations, ensuring individuals get the help they needAdvocate for clients to remove barriers that impact their ability to thrive in secure accommodationWe’re Looking For Someone Who IsReactive and dynamic – able to think on your feet and adapt to emerging challengesMotivated and resilient – committed to supporting clients with complex needs, even when the work is demandingEmpathetic and confident – Able to adopt a person centred,
