Join Extendicare as a Registered Practical Nurse, dedicated to enhancing resident care.

Your role will focus on patient-centered nursing in a collaborative environment to support seniors' health. As a part time Registered Practical Nurse, you will report directly to the Director of Care. You'll evaluate clinical care plans and communicate effectively with team members to ensure the residents' needs are met. Critical tasks include administering medications, conducting assessments, and educating families while adhering to all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and evaluate resident care/service plans
- Facilitate resident care conferences and communicate changes
- Manage medication administration and record-keeping




- Provide emergency first aid and support medical needs
- Lead and instruct unregulated care providers effectively Requirements:
- Must possess an RPN registration in your Province/State
- Previous experience in geriatric care preferred
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support required
- Proven clinical knowledge and documentation skills
- Current Vulnerable Position Screening within the last 6 months Utilize your nursing skills at Extendicare to provide excellent care for seniors in an enriching environment.
