About the Position

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Farmers Market Sales Associate to represent our farm at local farmers markets and help customers discover fresh, locally grown produce.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, spending time outdoors, and supporting local agriculture. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming market experience while helping customers select and learn about our seasonal produce.

Responsibilities

- Set up and take down the market booth, including tables, displays, signage, and produce
- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
- Sell and package locally grown vegetables and produce.
- Weigh and price produce and accurately process cash and electronic payments
- Answer customer questions about our products and growing practices
- Keep the booth clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Monitor inventory throughout the market and communicate restocking needs
- Handle produce carefully to maintain quality and presentation
- Represent the farm in a professional and positive manner




- Assist with loading and unloading market supplies and produce

Qualifications We are looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable speaking with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift boxes of produce up to 50 lbs.
- Interested in local food, farming, and supporting the community.

Previous farmers market, retail, customer service, or agricultural experience is an asset, but training will be provided for the right candidate. What We Offer
