This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Field Sales Representative II based in Canada.
This is a field-based sales role focused on growing demand and developing strategic customer relationships across Quebec and the Canadian Maritimes.
You will work with customers, suppliers, and engineering stakeholders in a highly technical electronics environment.
The role combines territory development, solution selling, account strategy, and supply-chain value creation.
You will identify new opportunities, strengthen existing accounts, and connect customer needs with creative RF, wireless, IoT, power, and electronic component solutions.
You will also lead business reviews, develop strategic account plans, and use sales data to drive measurable growth.
Success requires commercial judgment, technical curiosity, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
The position is fully remote from Montreal, with approximately 10–15% travel throughout the assigned territory.

Accountabilities:
- Identify priority markets, prospective customers, and new business opportunities across the assigned Quebec and Maritimes territory.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans designed to increase sales, generate demand, expand relationships, and strengthen customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts involved in engineering, design, purchasing, supply chain, and business decisions.
- Promote and sell a comprehensive portfolio of electronic components, technical solutions, value-added services, and supply-chain programs.
- Leverage knowledge of supplier product lines to identify solutions that address customer requirements and create new design opportunities.
- Partner closely with manufacturers and suppliers to develop relationships, coordinate opportunities, and support customer requirements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing supply-chain needs and providing value-added support throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Prepare and present internal quarterly business reviews, including strategic plans, sales opportunities,
demand-generation initiatives, and implementation priorities.
- Lead regular business reviews with major customers to identify additional opportunities and accelerate account growth.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity, and account information using tools such as Salesforce and Oracle.
- Apply knowledge of electronics-industry pricing programs and models to support effective commercial strategies.
- Resolve complex customer and business challenges by applying established best practices while identifying opportunities to improve products, services, and processes.
- Operate within a sales compensation structure in which approximately 70% of compensation is base salary and 30% is variable, tied to defined sales objectives.
Requirements:
- Typically, a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required; an advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience may also be considered.
- Proven experience in technical sales, field sales, manufacturer representation, distribution, or a comparable commercial role within the electronics industry.
- Experience with RF/Microwave, power electronics semiconductors, and IP&E; products is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic territory and account plans and convert them into measurable sales growth.
- Strong understanding of technical and engineering sales environments, including the ability to engage credibly with design and engineering stakeholders.
- Experience managing customer relationships and developing opportunities through consultative or solution-selling approaches.
- Solid knowledge of electronics-industry pricing structures, programs, and commercial models.
- Ability to work effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, customers, and internal teams to develop and close opportunities.
- Experience preparing and presenting business reviews, strategic plans, forecasts, and sales performance updates.
- Proficiency with sales tracking and CRM systems, particularly Salesforce; familiarity with Oracle is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace while managing priorities and a geographically distributed customer territory.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–15% throughout the assigned territory.
