Responsible for leading and directing safe industrial service and waste transportation (liquid and solid) services for GFL on customer job sites throughout Windsor and the surrounding Area. This supervisor will work directly with customers to understand their requirements, quote projects, develop appropriate methodology and safe operating procedures to ensure that all jobs are executed safely and efficiently. You will lead and support crews both on site and at GFL owned facilities while also coordinating with GFL operations and EHS teams to proactively manage all aspects of the services under your supervision.

This physically strenuous position involves mobilization, demobilization Industrial cleaning, waste receiving and Tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

● Ensure the safety and well-being of yourself and all GFL employees.

● Coordinate directly with customers to ensure all needs are understood and develop safe, effective and productive processes to meet/exceed customer expectations.

● Lead teams on site and at GFL owned facilities.

● Support in the training, continual improvement and the well-being of your team

● Scope industrial service work and support sales in identifying and new opportunities for GFL in Windsor and the surrounding area.

● Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies and all regulatory requirements, without exception.

● Conduct Daily "e; Toolbox Talks quote; to reinforce safety awareness and best practices.

● Complete all EHS requirements, including pre/post equipment inspections, job task observations, weekly site inspections,



hazard id’s and other programs as required, to contribute to a safe work environment.

● Complete assigned daily tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and coordinate with all GFL facilities, divisions and other supervisors, as required.

● Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities.

● Ensure timely completion of new policy updates and online training via Workhub.

● Maintain and update operational and management reporting.

● Schedule and dispatch work and Generate manifests in RPRA

● Investigate, document, and submit incident and non-conformance reports promptly

● Consistently enforce company policies and procedures in a fair and impartial manner.

● Respond to emergencies, including spills, and assist in containment and cleanup efforts.

● Foster positive working relationships with team members and customers.

● Perform additional duties as assigned by the operation supervisor

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

● Commitment to a safe work environment

● Valid G license

● Successful completion of GFL online Training.

● 3-5 years industrial cleaning and supervisory experience.





● DZ/AZ experience is an asset

● Experience in industrial settings, scoping work and execution projects.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

● Strong customer focus and desire to grow the business.

● Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks.

● Knowledge of electronic devices (i.e., tablets, ELD, Cell phones)
