Esri is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to serve as a finance business partner to our Marketing divisions.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary FP&A partner to assigned Marketing teams, developing a strong understanding of their strategies, activities, business and financial drivers, and decision needsTranslate Marketing operating plans, programs, staffing assumptions, and investment priorities into budgets and financial forecastsDevelop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate investments, resource decisions, business assumptions, and alternative courses of actionAnalyze performance against plan, identifying the operational drivers behind material variances and changes in outlookIdentify emerging financial risks and opportunities and partner with stakeholders to evaluate appropriate actionsFacilitate recurring financial reviews with Marketing stakeholders, clearly communicating performance, outlook, risks, opportunities, and recommended actionsProvide financial guidance and constructive challenge, testing business assumptions and helping stakeholders evaluate whether proposed spending and investments deliver sufficient business valuePrepare executive-level reports and presentations that translate detailed financial analysis into concise conclusions and actionable recommendationsBuild trusted relationships across Marketing, Accounting, and Finance to support coordinated planning and informed decision-makingImprove the quality and efficiency of planning, reporting, and financial decision-support processes through standardization, simplification, and automationRequirements5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a closely related financial role, including direct responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, performance-to-plan analysis, and business partnership with non-financial stakeholdersStrong analytical skills,



including the ability to interpret business needs and connect financial outcomes to operational driversDemonstrated experience partnering with non ‐ financial stakeholders, building trusted relationships, and influencing decisions through financial insightsExcellent interpersonal skills including diplomacy, negotiati on, reasoning, problem - solving, and influenceSkilled at developing and presenting executive-level communications and data visualization s that translate business needs and financial analysis into clear, actionable insightsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive financial informationAbility to develop strong interdepartmental and cross-functional working relationshipsAdvanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysisVisa sponsorship is not available for this posting.
