SUMMARYReporting to the Warehouse Department, this position is responsible for the Safe and Efficient operation of the forklift assigned to the Warehouse area.MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AFTERNOON SHIFT (2PM TO 10PM)Shift Premium & Additional Incentives offeredRate of pay: $24.74/hrDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform a pre-shift inspection of the ForkliftComplete pre-shift Daily Inspection form and hand-in at the start of shiftOperate equipment/machinery following all Safety proceduresReport any equipment malfunctions to Lead hand or Warehouse SupervisorMonitor Quality of material and product being handled and report any deficiencies to Lead Hand or Warehouse SupervisorEnsure that material is stored in appropriate/designated storage areasEnsure accuracy of material supplied to Production lineEnsure the handling of blue bed with care without damagingEnsure the handling of wooden pallets with care without damagingPicking Siding, Accessories,



Shakes and purchase product damage freeMaintain housekeeping/cleaning of equipment and around assigned work areaParticipate in Department and Company meetings as applicable and provide feedback to Lead hand or Warehouse Supervisor for Continuous improvementParticipate in mid and year-end inventory count if neededComply with all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, as applicablePerform other duties as assigned by the Shipping/Warehouse Lead Hand and Supervisors.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSMust have completed Grade 12 or equivalentPrevious manufacturing experience is an asset but not a requirementForklift certification acquired through Company sponsored training programDemonstrates ability to operate machinery safely and efficientlyAbility to complete reports accurately and legiblyGood communication skillsTeam player, strong interpersonal skillsWestlake offers you the potential to enrich your work life and career experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
