We are seeking a motivated and dependable Flooring Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist experienced flooring installers in preparing work sites, handling materials, and executing flooring projects efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in flooring installation, tile laying, and general construction while contributing to high-quality craftsmanship.

Duties
- Assist with the preparation of work areas, including clearing debris and setting up tools and materials for flooring installation
- Support skilled workers in laying tiles, hardwood, laminate, or other flooring materials according to project specifications
- Handle hand tools such as hammers, chisels, trowels, and saws under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints or project plans to understand layout and installation requirements
- Mix adhesives, mortars, or other compounds needed for flooring tasks
- Help with surface preparation tasks like leveling subfloors or applying caulking for sealing gaps
- Maintain a clean and organized work setting to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Prior experience with construction or handyman work is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools used in flooring installation, carpentry, or general construction
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
- Knowledge of flooring types such as tile, hardwood, or laminate is advantageous
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward safety protocols
- Basic understanding of caulking techniques and surface preparation methods
