Founded in 1818, Université de Saint-Boniface (USB) is the first and only French-language university in Manitoba and in Western Canada. It offers 27 college and university programs, delivered by a dozen or so faculties, schools, and departments, and welcomes over 1,700 students as well as 3,000 individuals in continuing education. USB is located in Old St.Boniface, a French quarter with historic charm right in the heart of Winnipeg.

Responsibilities:

- In the context of one-on-one tutoring sessions, help students improve their oral and written expression, with a focus on self-correction strategies;
- Maintain accurate records on individuals who visit the Tutoring Centre;
- Help with supervision for various evaluations;
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the coordinator or director to ensure the proper functioning of the Tutoring Centre or the Language Enrichment Service.

Desired qualifications:

- Relevant training or experience;
- Excellent knowledge of French (spoken and written) or English (spoken and written);
- Good knowledge of writing techniques, the writing process, writing tools, and self-correction strategies;
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit;
- Discreet and reliable;
- Independent and responsible;




- Open-minded and sensitive to the needs of others.
