Join DAK Capital as a Full Cycle Accountant directly supporting the Controller. This role offers autonomy in managing accounts payable, journal entries, and reconciliations in a vibrant downtown Edmonton setting. In this accounting position, you will assist with the entire cycle of accounting for DAK Capital and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities include posting journal entries, preparing month-end working papers, and entering accounts payable invoices. You'll also manage monthly GST returns and support quarterly consolidations, fostering a strong team-oriented setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Post journal entries and prepare general ledger reconciliations
- Enter accounts payable invoices for accuracy
- Input monthly investment statements and prepare reconciliations
- Assist with monthly GST return filings
- Support quarterly and year-end consolidation schedules Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting required
- 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred
- CPA designation considered an asset
- Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks, Caseware
