Aletheia Health is a health tech startup building an AI-powered billing platform that helps healthcare providers recover lost revenue and reduce claim errors. We work with clinics and billing organizations across the U.S. and Canada to modernize how medical claims are coded, submitted, and resolved.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Have 5+ years of experience writing maintainable, production-quality code.
- Design and build scalable fullstack systems for consumer and enterprise health.
- Own end-to-end feature development — from early design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and services that meet strict privacy, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
- Collaborate closely with researchers and safety teams to integrate reliability, evaluation, and guardrails into production systems.
- Debug, optimize, and harden systems to support high availability, performance, and global scale.
- Take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them to practical, high-quality solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING





- Professional software engineering experience with robust full-stack development skills.
- Experience building production applications with Python and modern frontend frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containers, and distributed systems.
- Experience with observability, production support, and software reliability best practices.
- Strong product instincts, attention to user experience, and a customer-first mindset.
- A builder mentality with the ability to thrive in high-ownership, fast-moving environments.
- Experience with EMR integration systems.
- Experience building microservices.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Experience with EMRs and US healthcare systems.
- Experience building healthcare products.
- Comfortable working alongside AI coding tools like Cursor and Copilot to accelerate development.
