Join YWCA Regina as a Diversion Support Worker, providing critical daytime support for women and families in need. Your focus will be their immediate safety, housing, and health challenges. This full-time role requires a proactive, trauma-informed approach to assist those facing crises.
As a Diversion Support Worker, you will build trust and connect clients to essential services, working from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM on a 5-5-4 rotation. Your efforts will help divert those in need away from emergency services through impactful connections and referrals. Key Responsibilities:
- Foster relationships with women and families in crisis
- Link community members to necessary resources and services
- Manage reporting and develop case plans
- Facilitate cultural connections and programming Requirements:
- No formal education requirement
- 0-6 months relevant experience
- Familiarity with community resources
