Seaspan Shipyards seeks a Senior Manager for Construction Estimation, specializing in resource planning for current projects in North Vancouver. Lead teams in delivering strategic forecasts and actionable insights to optimize project costs.This fully on-site position involves spearheading estimating and resource planning functions, focused on collaborative efforts across engineering, planning, and finance teams. Your role is crucial in enhancing governance frameworks while supporting bids and contract modifications.



Experience in estimating methodologies will help steer projects toward successful completion.Key Responsibilities:Lead continuous improvement in estimating and planning processesDevelop comprehensive cost estimates for new projectsCollaborate with finance on cost assumptions and reportingEnsure resource plans meet operational capacity needsMaintain estimating databases and productivity metricsRequirements:Bachelor's in engineering, project management, or related discipline10-15 years in resource planning or project managementLeadership experience of at least 5 yearsBackground supporting major projects in shipbuilding or marineKnowledge of earned value management principlesLeverage your estimating expertise and leadership skills to make a significant impact at Seaspan Shipyards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
