What does the LOB do?: Supports Treasury Risk Management applications and business functions, specifically Asset Liability Management (ALM), Liquidity Risk Management, QRM platform support, reporting solutions, and future technology modernization initiatives including Databricks migration.

Reason the role is open?: The team requires additional capacity to support the QRM application, upcoming reporting initiatives requested by the business, and future Databricks migration activities. The resource will provide additional support to the existing QRM team while contributing to strategic technology initiatives

Team (# of members, culture, etc): The Treasury Risk/QRM team currently consists of 2 Business Analysts supporting the QRM platform. The environment is highly collaborative and operates in a hybrid Agile model with daily scrums, close interaction with business stakeholders,



developers, project managers, and fellow BAs. The team values proactive, communicative, and self-sufficient individuals who can learn quickly and contribute across multiple initiatives.

Job Description

Seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the Treasury Risk Management technology portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with Asset Liability Management and Liquidity Risk stakeholders to support the QRM platform, deliver reporting solutions, gather and document requirements, investigate issues, and support ongoing enhancement initiatives.

This role requires a strong blend of business and technical analysis capabilities,



with approximately 50% business-facing stakeholder interaction and 50% collaboration with developers, project managers, and technology teams. The successful candidate will also have the prospect to contribute to future Databricks migration and reporting modernization initiatives.

Must Have Requirement

• 8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience within Banking/Financial Services.


• Experience supporting Treasury Risk Management, Liquidity Risk Management, Asset Liability Management (ALM), or Risk Management functions.


• Experience working with a QRM (Quantitative Risk Management) platform


• Solid requirements gathering and stakeholder management experience.


• Experience supporting reporting initiatives and reporting solution delivery


• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and investigation.


• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.


• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid Agile environment.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Databricks experience.


• Reporting architecture or reporting solution design experience.


• Treasury ALM experience.


• Liquidity Risk Management experience.


• Prior experience supporting Capital Markets or Treasury technology teams.


• Previous CIBC or Big 5 Banking experience.
