Join Our Locally Owned Veterinary Hospital

We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and dependable Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at our privately owned local veterinary hospital.

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and caring experience for every family who walks through our doors. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, loves animals, and thrives in a busy team environment.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with client inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flow
- Check clients in and out and process payments accurately
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding appointments, medications, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate client and patient records
- Coordinate with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other hospital team members
- Handle prescription and food requests according to hospital protocols
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Provide compassionate support to clients during both routine and difficult visits
- Assist with general administrative and reception duties as needed

- Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment




- An excellent communicator and team player
- Confident using computers and learning new software
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable handling sensitive or emotional client situations with compassion
- Previous veterinary reception or veterinary hospital experience is an asset, but we are also happy to consider candidates with strong customer service, medical reception, or administrative experience who are eager to learn.
