We are seeking General Warehouse Associates for our client's large wholesale electrical distribution centre in Brantford. This is a fast-paced facility and requires candidates to lift 50lbs through the shift.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify items being shipped and received.
- Maintain inventory in a clean, structured, and organized manner.
- Continuously develop your knowledge of electrical, lighting, and automation products and share that expertise with customers.
- Perform monthly inventory counts with a high level of precision.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from obstructions.
- Maintain in-store merchandising, including everyday stock, new products, and promotional items.
- Other general labour tasks as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- Long-term experience in similar quick-paced warehouse/general labour role required
- Strong English communication and writing skills
- Strong computer skills
- Must be comfortable with general labour and repetitively lifting 50lbs
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- CSA approved safety shoes required
- Candidates must be willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
