Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Cleaning and organizing the shop, work areas, tools, and equipment

- Moving vehicles around the property or into/out of service bays

- Removing and disposing of waste, such as used oil containers, tires, scrap metal, and other shop debris

- Assisting automotive technicians with basic tasks and bringing them tools or parts

- Loading and unloading deliveries of automotive parts, tires, fluids, and equipment

- Handling and organizing inventory and putting parts away

- Basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluids, inflating tires, or changing wiper blades, depending on training

- Tire-related work, such as moving, storing, and sometimes mounting/balancing tires if trained

- Using basic hand tools and shop equipment under supervision





- Following workplace safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals, tools, and equipment

- Helping with snow removal, yard maintenance, and general property upkeep

- Supporting customers and staff by moving vehicles, retrieving parts, or assisting with general shop needs

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent (automotive trade school or training a plus).

- Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience with vehicles preferred.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
