and returning bins to their proper spotsProactively monitoring waste bins across the site and servicing them before they overflow, especially during peak periodsKeeping waste collection areas tidy and hazard-freeFlagging spills, overflowing bins, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to the on-site supervisor right awayJumping in on general site tidying as directed by the Event Operations teamWhat We're Looking For:No formal experience required — previous cleaning, janitorial, or event/general labour experience is a bonusComfortable working independently and as part of a wider event crewStrong attention to detail and genuine pride in keeping a space cleanReliable and punctual, able to commit to both full shift daysAble to follow verbal instructions and in office safety proceduresPositive, professional manner around participants, spectators, and staffAble to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of an 8-hour shift, including carrying filled garbage bagsComfortable working outdoors in variable weatherCompensation & Work Model: $22.00 per hour, approximately 16 hours total across two shift days.
