Duties

- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling to meet each client's unique preferences.
- Deliver excellent customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools that complement clients’ needs, enhancing their experience and satisfaction.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments efficiently.
- Keep detailed records of client preferences, services provided,



and product recommendations for future visits.
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, blow-drying, and special treatments.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic salon environment at all times.
- Effective communication skills for explaining styling options clearly and confidently to clients.
- Proven ability to upsell retail products naturally while prioritizing client satisfaction.
- Experience in retail sales within a salon or beauty setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle front desk duties efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
