North Toronto Soccer’s Advanced Development Program provides players aged 10-13 with a secure, accessible, and stage appropriate environment where players can develop and refine their skills.
The Advanced Development Program consists of under-11, under-12 & under-13 Age Groups for boys and girls. Within the Age Group coaches work closely with a select group of players known as a Pod. Pods are selected based on level of play, but movement between Pods can be facilitated. Each Pod trains three times per week and plays a weekly game.
Head Coaches responsibilities:
Head Coaches are responsible for leading all aspects of team operations including:
- Planning & delivering training sessions according to the Age Group scheme of work
- Coaching games
- Facilitating tryouts
- Providing player feedback
- Maintaining good communication with players and families
- Regular communication with the Manager, Advanced Development Program
Experience & Training:
- Experience working with Grassroots players between the ages of 9-13
- Learn to Train Community Workshop (S4L)
- Grassroots Diploma - preferred
- Respect in Sport (RIS)
- Making Ethical Decisions (MED)
- Making Headway
- NCCP Emergency Action Planning*
