We are looking for the right people — people who want to innovate, achieve, grow and lead. We attract and retain the best talent by investing in our employees and empowering them to develop themselves and their careers. Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.About the RoleYou will focus on building the visualization layer for next-generation geoscience applications. This role is centered on displaying, exploring, and interacting with large-scale scientific datasets within modern web applications. You will work closely with front-end engineers, AI engineers, and domain experts to develop high-performance visualization capabilities that allow users to interact with millions of data points in real time. You will help design and implement rendering systems, data processing pipelines, and visualization frameworks that transform complex geoscience data into interactive visual experiences. You will build software for the following domain:Geoscience - geology, geophysics, or petrophysicsTechnologies used vary by team and include:TypeScript, JavaScript, C++, and PythonAngular, React, and Node.JsWebGL, WebGPU, Three.Js, deck.Gl, D3.Js, Cesium, or similar visualization frameworksCloud platforms including Azure and AWSContainerization and orchestration tooling such as Docker and KubernetesJob DutiesDesign and implement high-performance visualization components for complex scientific and engineering datasetsBuild rendering systems capable of displaying and interacting with millions of points, vectors, surfaces, or spatial objectsDesign interaction models for zooming, filtering, selection, annotation, and navigation of large datasetsOptimize visualization performance across CPU, GPU, and memoryUse AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation, debugging, performance tuning, and test generation for visualization componentsEvaluate emerging AI-assisted approaches for visualization generation, interaction design, and data explorationCollaborate with UI engineers to integrate visualizations into application workflowsDevelop efficient client-side data structures, indexing strategies, and pipelinesEvaluate and integrate visualization libraries, rendering frameworks,

You own your assignments end to end, communicate clearly when something is off track, and treat code reviews as a genuine quality tool rather than a formality. You are comfortable working across time zones, adaptable when requirements shift, and focused on delivery outcomes rather than task completion. You pick up new tools and techniques on your own, evaluate them critically, and bring the ones that work to your team. You help the engineers around you improve because you understand that team quality compounds over time. Why LandmarkWe build small, high-ownership teams and invest in the quality of every person on them. You will work in a business where software is the product, the work you do matters, and the standards are high. You will own real work that ships, learn from engineers who push you, and grow into the kind of engineer the team relies on.We offer competitive compensation, a strong career path, and a role where you own what you build, and your impact is visible.Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
