Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty diesel engines, including trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
- Use schematics, technical manuals, and electronic diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety standards are met or exceeded.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting gear to disassemble, repair, or assemble machinery components.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection logs to track repairs and identify recurring issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols.




- Assist in the operation of heavy equipment when necessary for testing or troubleshooting purposes.

Skills

- Proven dealership or heavy machinery repair experience with a solid background in automotive repair and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of excavator, crane, forklift, farm machinery, and other heavy equipment systems.
- Skilled in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical blueprints for accurate diagnostics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and industrial maintenance equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working in various positions or confined spaces.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators or cranes is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members.
