Join Long & McQuade as an Independent Woodwind Instructor in North York, ON. This contract position requires availability during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
This role allows you to teach at the Long & McQuade Lesson Centre, where you'll provide woodwind lessons to students across all age groups. Ideal candidates hold a music degree, RCM certification, or have equivalent skilled experience. Your teaching proficiency should encompass standard methods and curricula tailored to diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct woodwind lessons for students of all ages
• Implement effective teaching strategies and lesson planning
• Customize learning experiences to suit individual students
• Encourage a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere
• Assess student progress and adapt lessons as necessary
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing or music degree
• Demonstrated teaching experience required
• Knowledge of standard lesson curricula
• Professional equivalency accepted
• Availability for flexible lessons on weekdays and weekends
