Mainland Truck & Trailer Sales is looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on mobile mechanic position working on commercial tractors and trailers , supporting both our own fleet and our clients’ fleets throughout the Lower Mainland.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty tractors and commercial trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled fleet servicing
- Complete mobile repairs and service calls at customer locations
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, brake and air systems
- Perform inspections and identify required repairs
- Service and maintain Mainland’s fleet as well as external client fleets
- Help minimize downtime and keep customers’ equipment on the road
- Maintain accurate service and repair records

What We’re Looking For




- Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Commercial transport experience preferred
- Red Seal or Journeyperson certification is an asset
- Valid BC driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and customer-service mindset
- Ability to prioritize emergency repairs and scheduled fleet maintenance
