As an Equipment Operator, you'll report to the Operations Manager and will be vital in maintaining roadways and other assets per contract standards. Responsibilities include using snow removal equipment and operating various maintenance tools to repair surfaces and handle vegetation. Ideal candidates will have outdoor work experience and skills in using power tools and equipment efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate snow removal and maintenance equipment as needed • Repair and maintain highways, signage, and guardrails • Set up traffic control devices for safety • Transport crew to and from work locations • Be available for emergency response as required
Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • At least three years of related experience • Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license required • Completion of traffic control and first aid training • Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds
